This single strand necklace is made of multi-colored fresh water Pearls with grey, blue and green sheen, an old Meditarranean Coral and Karen silver beads. The old triangular silver Telsum pendant comes from Ethiopia.

Telsum is a style of beadmaking that is unique to Ethiopia. Telsum pendants were worn as protective amulets. Specifically triangular telsum beads were worn against the evil eye.
