Tribal arts and crafts, particularily the art of indiginous jewelry making, have been a constant source of inspiration to me. My designs combine elements of tribal jewelry with my personal eclectic style and aesthetic, shaped by background, history and artistic explorations as a painter. Most of my pieces incorporate tribal silver parts which were collected over a period of 20 years throughout travels across the globe.
I primarily use gem stones, old collectible glass beads and precious metals. I am interested in combining tribal pendants, charms, and intricately worked beads which have a unique pattern or patina with modern accents and stones, such as polished, metallic Hematite, faceted Serpentine or translucent Prehnite. The contrast of tribal and modern, play of color nuances and an eye for detail, are all part of this collection. My designs are one of a kind pieces or limited small editions produced in Berlin, Germany.
