Faceted dyed hematite beads in an antique gold and blue tone are combined with Boule brass bead from West Africa. Black serpentine, brass spacers and blue dyed hematite are worked in as accent beads.

Boule beads were originally found in West African countries such as Ivory Coast, Mali and Nigeria and were part of a family tradition of bead making, with tools and techniques being passed on from generation to generation.
